Scholarships for Australian Indigenous Students
The Oakleigh Foundation gives Indigenous Australians an opportunity to continue the education journey from school, to university and into the professions. Ultimately, we would like to see more Indigenous Australians appointed to leadership roles in business, government and the community.
Our Story.
The Oakleigh Foundation gives Indigenous Australians an opportunity to continue the education journey from school, to university and into the professions.
Our People.
Our scholars truly value the mentorship of our program. Our people provide encouragement, advice and guidance for each scholar according to his or her particular needs.
Our Partners.
The Oakleigh Foundation works closely with a range of partners to help support our scholars. These include university Indigenous support units and residential colleges.
Current Scholars.
We are currently supporting 12 scholars at leading Australian universities. Full time courses taken include Arts, Medicine, Law and Science, the majority being double degree courses.
Alumni Scholars.
Over 95% of our scholars successfully complete university. Our scholars secure work in leading private sector organisations, such as McKinseys and Minter Ellison, as well as leading Government organisations.
Future Scholars.
We are keen to support young Indigenous Australians who are looking to study full-time courses that will lead to the professions. These courses include Business, Economics, Engineering, Medicine, Law and Science.
